Pickleball at Gethsemane

FREE OPEN PLAY! All members of the community are invited to play pickleball at Gethsemane. All skill levels welcome and come with friends or come make some new ones. Walk-ins are welcome.

When? 

Most Saturday mornings anytime between 8 a.m. to Noon. 

And most Sunday afternoons anytime between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.

Where? The Gethsemane Life Center Gym (4040 Watonga Blvd., Houston, TX). The gym is divided into three pickleball courts. The gym is indoors and air-conditioned. Use the Life Center gym entrance (Building 3) in the south parking lot behind the Sanctuary.

How much does it cost? Free!

I don’t know how to play. Pickleball is a game that is easy to learn and fun for all ages and skill levels. Pickleball combines elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong using a paddle and a whiffle-type ball. If you do not have your own equipment, let the person in charge know you wish to borrow paddles and pickleballs. 

All participants must sign a waiver before playing. 

Use the CourtReserve website or mobile app on the App Store and enter “GLC Pickleball” to register and sign the waiver in advance.

Please note:  All children under the age of 16 must be supervised and accompanied by an adult not playing pickleball.
